Abaca
We specialize in this great textile. Available in various grades and quality, we work with excellent weavers that take pride in both the raw materials and their personal workmanship, ensuring a quality product. Abaca comes from the same plant family as the banana tree. The fiber is amazingly strong and versatile, and after harvesting is woven into a variety of airy textiles and interesting twines and braids. The abaca fiber textile can then be hand dyed into anything from subtle earth tones to riotous tropical hues, interwoven with metallic threads, and/or turned into an almost limitless variety of interior accessories and furnishings.
