Most of our papers are considered acid free. They are actually acid neutral meaning they fall in the ideal range for longevity, bewen acid and alkaline. Our papers are not made of wood and therefore lignin is not a concern. We do have two collections that have a higher acid content. They are the Firenza and Not-a-hide collections. While these papers are not recomended for scrapbooking, they are wonderful for cats and general paper projects.

The handmade nature of our papers sometimes will require a wet fold tear, leaving a smooth cut with a slightly ragged edg, excellent for small work. Heavier papers tear okay against a ruler or need to be cut. Experiment with decorative scissors, as they need to be sharp for a crisp clean cut on handmade papers. They will work best on our lihtweight papers such as Mandalay or any of the Project Papers. Large even patterns with precise cutting will be beautiful when applied to our sofer papers lik Eurorap and Chamois Quilt.
